2 Day Sustainable Living Course

The month of May saw us in Plettenberg Bay at the Hog Hollow Country Lodge. I have to say that I have yet to find a more beautiful place to run a course!! Many thanks to Debbie for her hospitality.
This is the beginnings of Lyndall's hot compost heap.

Dear Nigel

Thanks you for both your emails. I have been away and soon as I have got myself sorted out I will send the info on the moon planting. I look forward to doing my carbon footprint.

Thanks again for the workshop - it was truly helpful.

Many thanks

Sharon

Hello All,

I am very excited about my hot compost heap - the gardener and I have been
hard at work this morning.
I do now know the benefits of living on a diary farm - fresh wet cow
manure!!

How are you all doing?
Kind regards
Lyndall

Hi Nigel

Thanks for the emial, I really enjoyed the course and am trying to get my compost / planting boxes made up. However, with the public holidays my husband is pushed for time so I’m going to have to wait till next week unfortunately!!! Once I have those done I’ll probably be contacting you again if you don’t mind?

Please let me have the link for the carbon footprint counter when you get a gap…

Many thanks for everything
Have a great day

Hi Nigel

Thank you for the course! Have been busy ever since. What an inspiration. Sprouts are coming along just not at the speed I hoped for. But on the other hand we had lots and lots of compost where I thought to be none. So you were right. Two beds are re-done and on a two weeks rest for planting and tomorrow i am off to the co-op re worm farm operation (can I put compost at the bottom instead of manure????). i have reduced carbon footprint by using sand for cat litter box. Cats & husband not impressed, it stinks. I know, it's a long road.

Once again, thank you for a great course.

Take care
Saskia
